Oversize & Heavy Lift Cargo Transportation Plan Scope of Work & Fleet Management The project utilizes a total of 8 transport vehicles, meticulously selected based on cargo and weight to ensure maximum safety
The specific types of trailers used are as follow
Lowbed Trailer (Multi-Axle): Specially deployed for heavy payloads to properly distribute weight across multiple axles in strict compliance with regulations, preventing any damage to road infrastructure
Port Operations at Laem Chabang Port (Pier C3)
The operations team conducts a comprehensive physical inspection of the cargo prior to trailer loading (Pre-inspection)
Lifting and positioning onto trailers are strictly supervised and carefully executed by heavy-lift specialists
Cargo securing and tie-down operations are performed in accordance with international safety standards (Lashing & Securing).
The cargo undergoes cross-docking and trailer transfer at a designated yard to remove the shipping line’s Flatrack containers
Intermediate Reloading (Height Clearance Optimization) To effectively minimize the total height of the vehicle and cargo, ensuring safe and unhindered clearance under pedestrian overpasses, traffic gantries, and low-hanging utility cables along the route.
